4 Evaluation of a test series (Statistics function)

Prerequisite: At least two readings must be saved in the measurement data memory.

Note: The measurement data memory must always be empty before starting a test series that is to be evaluated

(cf. chapter 6 "Deleting measurements", page 14). If at least two readings are not stored in memory when you first

press RES and then [OK], the statistical evaluation will NOT start.

Statistical evaluation of a test series:

1. The display menu shows "RES". This is the default setting of the instrument. If RES is not currently shown on

the display, use the arrow key [] or [] to switch to this setting.

2. Press button [OK] repeatedly.

After each [OK], the display will change to the next statistic number (see table below).

3. Press [ESC] or do further measurements to continue a block. This allows to do statistical evaluations within a

test series.
